We've just returned from a morning shoot at Recycling Lives in Preston. They are a Queen’s Award-winning commercial recycler with over forty years experience in the recycling and waste management industry. Their commercial services help to support their own social welfare charity, which helps vulnerable people to work their way back to independent living.

We went along to Retford, Notts, last Sunday to film the North West Lawn Mower Racing Association 6 Hour Endurance Event. We had a great day in lovely weather filming some hysterical but very serious racing.
This shoot marked a return to filming mountain bikes for Dave Halton, a pursuit of his for quite a few years when he used a helmet mounted camera for the filming. He rarely gets out on a bike these days but nevertheless was very impressed with the new trail development at Penmachno Forest and may yet get his bike out of storage for a ride on them!
We worked for NavMotion on this project and they and the Penmachno Community team were great to work with. Some very challenging flying was required especially in the forest below the canopy; the winds added to the challenge but the footage is amazing. AerialVue filmed on location in Peru with the BBC and Professor Cox for this new TV series; the first episode airs tomorrow night on BBC2 at 9pm.
Link to the series here: Human Universe We've just returned from a 1000 mile road trip filming at more locations for the new BBC Secret Britain series. The light was amazing so we've got some impressive footage. The wind was challenging to say the least but our Sub 7kg DroidWorx XM3HL with Zenmuse and Panasonic GH4 rose to the challenge and the Sub 7 once again proved to be invaluable.
The distance between locations meant we needed to carry a large stock of charged battery packs with us, this enabled us to make 16 flights of 12+ minutes duration without the need to recharge any batteries. Overnight charging at our hotel accommodation may have increased their electricity bill somewhat! |
