We will always attend a production with multiple craft, we never attend with just one system. Usually we will have at least two machines capable of carrying out the production with the specified camera and we always carry a small craft for any unforeseen close quarter flying, such as through a doorway, window or into a cave.
As we operate a comprehensive preflight maintenance regime it is very rare that our craft have any problems. However if the unforeseen happens we carry with us an extensive repair capability, with everything from props to pre tested and configured flight controllers and all the expertise, tools and equipment necessary to carry out field repairs. As we build and maintain our own fleet of multi rotor craft we can adapt or even build for any specific camera system. All our UAV's are equipped with video downlinks on 5.8 ghz frequency and comply with OFCOM legislation. Our cameras have full HD recording; the GH4 also has the option to record at 4K resolution. Aerial Vue have generic rates to be used as a guideline. We like to negotiate on a job by job basis. For example flights over water would attract a higher rate than flying over a field. We have liaised and negotiated series and single programme shoots and aim to give the best production value with the highest level of expertise. |
Our Advantage
Not only do we have very experienced camera pilots and gimbal operators we are also able to field, maintain or modify all our craft if we know a different set up is required for a particular shot.
We work closely with a number of professional production companies and therefore we are able to provide any client with a bespoke video production service.
